2014-15 Biennial Ambassadors
Artist Residency exchange and exhibition organized with SOMA (Mexico City, MX), The Biennial of the Americas (Denver, CO) and ArtPlant (Denver, CO)
The Biennial Ambassadors residency exchange and exhibition was created with the aim of fostering collaboration and relationship between artists and communities in Mexico City and Denver as part of the 2015 Biennial of the Americas. Co-organized with the artist-run school SOMA in Mexico City represented by artist, educator and curator Carla Herrera-Prats, the program unfolded over the course of two years beginning in 2014 with two artists from each city spending 3 months living in the sister city connecting with the local community and researching a project for a group exhibition to be hosted in the City of Denver's McNichol's Building during the Biennial of the Americas in the summer of 2015.
